1) Pangong Lake
Located in Hemis which is a five hour driveaway from Leh is this beautiful lake that never fails to lift the souls of travelers. Its oceanic blue colour and the rugged brown mountains that surround by makes everybody skip a beat. Its unique feature includes the changing of the lake’s surface color. There are two streams from the Indian side that ultimately lead to the formation of wetlands and marshes at its edges.

3) Leh Palace

4) Shanti Stupa
It is one amongst the most recognizable landmarks in Leh Ladakh. It was built by Japanese and Ladakhi Buddhists to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and to promote world peace. The place is mainly for meditation and tourists all over the globe enjoy the stunning view of the site.
5) Khardung la
It is the acclaimed to be one of the highest motorable roads in India. It was once a route for ancient caravan travel. It is also referred to as a hotspot for mountain biking expeditions. 6) Magnetic hill
It is also called as cyclops hill. It is said that the area creates an optical illusion of the hill. It is a downhill road. As per a theory, they say that magnetic force in the area pulls the car upwards. There are many theories put forward for the place but this is what people believe.
7) Spituk Monastery
It is one of the important places in Ladakh. It has the idol of Lord Buddha, paintings, carvings, masks and idol of Kaali.
