Travel Safely with ‘Safety Sixer’ by Tripnotision
The coronavirus pandemic brought the whole world to a standstill ever since its deadly contagion rate was recognized. Like all other industries, travel and tourism also got its fair share of blow. Even though the curve is yet to be completely flattened and a vaccine or remedy yet to be finalized, the tourism world is slowly getting back on its feet. People have a better grasp of the COVID-19 guidelines by now – social distancing, sanitizing, and mask wearing – and trying to abide by them.
Several places in India as well as abroad opened up for tourism recently. Himachal Pradesh was one of the first states to ban entry of tourists; and it has recently opened its gates for tourists recently. Other destinations that have opened up after the pandemic include Uttarakhand, Goa, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
Safety Sixer by Tripnotision
Tripnotision, as always, is trying everything possible to make travel safe and effortless for the travellers. We are strictly following all the safety guidelines set up by the Ministry of Tourism as well as by WHO. There is a six-pronged COVID-19 safety measures guideline in place to facilitate safe and hygienic tourism for everyone. We have named it the ‘Safety Sixer’ and following are the six elements of it.
1. End-to-end sanitization
In the pre-pandemic era, no one really worried about how clean the surfaces were. But things changed and we had to evolve with it. We make sure that all vehicles and hotel rooms are thoroughly sanitized and disinfected before and after boarding of tourists. On top of that, all the high touch areas are sprayed with sanitizing solutions on a regular basis to avoid further risk.
2. Compulsory masking
Wearing masks has been made compulsory by every health authority around the world. It helps check the spread of the virus via transfer of droplets from one person to another. We have made it compulsory for all our tourists to wear masks compulsorily throughout the trip. Disposable surgical masks or reusable three-layered cloth masks are the ideal kind for civilians to use.
3. Preventive health check-up
We need to make sure that every traveller on board is healthy enough to make the trip. We conduct a general health check-up of everyone to ensure that, which includes detection for COVID-19 symptoms such as cough, fever, and breathing problems. Anyone with a history of the virus in the last 28 days will not be entertained keeping in line with the government guidelines.
4. Location introspection
Before deciding on a particular location for our trips, we inspect and analyse the history of COVID cases in the area. Needless to say, any location with a new case of infection in the last 14-28 days will be strictly avoided. Any location with an excessively high number of still-active cases will also be put off the list for the time being.
5. WHO Guidelines
WHO has been the forefront authority in leading the world through this crisis. The WHO safety guidelines regarding COVID-19 are regularly updated on their website as the situation evolves. At Tripnotision, we acknowledge and adopt every single guideline as per the notices and intimate our travellers of the same. The advisory includes –
• Practicing respectful social distancing
• Refraining from shaking hands and unnecessary contact
• Avoiding crowded places
• Frequently washing of hands with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer
• Proper usage and disposal of used tissue paper
6. Aarogya Setu App
Aarogya Setu App has been developed by the Government of India to avail all information regarding COVID-19. It includes self-assessment and patient mapping among other features. The open-source app analyses your answers regarding your health and deducts if you are at a risk of infection. With the Bluetooth feature of your smartphones, it also tells if you have active COVID cases in a few-km radius around you. We strongly advise our travellers to have the app downloaded and running in their phones for better information access.
Our collective mental health has also taken a hit owing to the coronavirus. At Tripnotision, we are trying to find a resolution for that by offering safe and secure itineraries. Together we are hoping to make travelling at large a real possibility by strictly abiding by the Safety Sixer rules.
